Born out of love
It all began with a love story. One musician and one yoga instructor start to plan their DIY Wedding. From flowers, decor, building benches for the ceremony, to building the stage for the band. Little did they know this would inspire Made of Leaves to be born.
Meet Meghan and James.
The owners and creatives behind Made of Leaves. Here is their story.
In 2019, James and Meghan had a DIY wedding in Blairstown, NJ. The goal was to create a whimsical, romantic, and laid back atmosphere. They accomplished all of it from collecting decor items, thrifting, building the benches and stage for the band. But… Who would do the flowers? Meghan decided to tackle the flowers without any prior knowledge or expertise. She drove out to a flower farm and purchased buckets of colorful wildflowers. Created centerpieces, and sprinkled flowers all over her backyard bohemian wedding venue. From the wedding arbor, to hanging flowers from the trees. It was magical, and this first experience with flowers made her fall in love with the entire process.
From coffee shops to large scale events. Made of leaves has grown from love. Meghan continues to pour all of her passion and attention into every single event. From driving out to NJ flower farms, selecting the most beautiful blooms, and designing thoughtful and unique floral arrangements. Meghan enjoys every single step.
